The 2013 Asian Youth Para Games, also known as the second Asian Youth Para Games, was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 26 to 30 October 2013.
Singapore sent a contingent of 23 athletes and officials (9 athletes, 11 officials and 3 secretariats) led by Chef-de-Mission Mr Mahadevan Lukshumayeh. Mr Choo Leng Hin (Athletics) was selected as Singapore’s flag bearer. Singapore competed in 4 out of 20 sports and they were Athletics, Badminton, Boccia and Swimming.
Singapore won 3 silver medals in this second edition of the game. Sprinter Mr Choo Leng Hin, who competed for the second time in the Asian Youth Para Games, won two silver medals in Men’s junior 100m and 200m sprint in the T37 category. He clocked his personal best in both races. Swimmer Mr Toh Wei Soong won a silver medal in S8 Men’s Junior 100m Freestyle despite competing for the first time in a major game.
