On medical advice, the Chef de Mission of Team Singapore at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games has decided to withdraw the Singapore team of Jovin Tan and Yap Qian Yin from the SKUD 18 sailing event due to the fact that Qian Yin was taken ill on 14 September 2016. While she is currently stable and recovering, the doctors advised against her participation in the event on 15 September 2016. The health and well being of our athletes take priority.
