The Singapore National Paralympic Council cordially invite you to the official welcome-back ceremony for the 6th ASEAN Para Games 2011, in Solo, Indonesia.
The para-athletes represented Singapore in five sports namely; Athletics, Badminton, Swimming, Table Tennis and Tenpin Bowling. Of the young athletes making their debut at these ASEAN Para Games, almost all of them are under 20 years of age.
The team spirit of the contingent shined throughout the duration of the games. A total of 2 bronze were from athletics, 1 gold, 1 silver from badminton, 2 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze from bowling and 6 gold, 8 silver, 6 bronze from swimming.
The final tally stands at 9 gold, 10 silver, 9 bronze, which puts Singapore at 7th placing.
The contingent of 32 athletes and 24 officials will return on Thursday, 22 Dec 2011, at 1pm. Details can be found below.
