We are pleased to announce Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, President of the Republic of Singapore, as the Patron of the Singapore National Paralympic Council (SNPC).
As we are celebrating our 15th anniversary this year, we would like to share a message by President Tharman:
“Our para athletes are an inspiration in so many ways.
Their sporting feats and achievements bring pride to the nation. That they train and push themselves to achieve excellence, in the face of extraordinary challenges, also motivates all of us. And through our para athletes’ actions, and the coaches and supporters behind each of them, we take forward a culture of inclusivity in Singapore.
My warmest congratulations to the Singapore National Paralympic Council (SNPC) on its 15th year of dedicated efforts to enable sporting excellence among our para athletes!
Let us do even more to continue to nurture every para athlete, support their pursuit of excellence, and make ours a society where every member is respected for their strengths.”
